Home Sweet Home is a short documentary that I wrote and  directed, exploring student housing in Waterloo, Ontario, which has left many in disappointment. Like many other students in Waterloo, my team and I were generally disappointed with the experience and wanted to create something that shed some light on the issue.
This was an exciting and impactful experience for me. I've always been interested in writing in its various forms, and creating a concise, educational, and entertaining documentary was a great challenge. This project taught me a lot about team management as well as the itty gritty details about planning for shoots, scouting interviewees, asking insightful questions, and the importance of concise language. The process of being so involved in, and watching an idea turn into reality was especially rewarding.
