Before working in design I've worked as a server in Waterloo, an English teacher in Thailand, a bartender in Colombia, a tour leader in Spain, and a photographer/outreach leader for Parks Canada Revelstoke.
I've realized that of the many jobs I've worked over the past few years, the thing that linked them all was the curation of an experience; the necessity of engaging in conversations with strangers and friends alike.
This led me to UX and design, because well, it's all about conversation - gauging feeling, reacting, and listening.
Creative documentation is how I make sense of my interactions with the world - filming, photographing, painting, and writing about the people I meet and the places I see. You can see some of this work in the navigation to the left - I hope it gives you a little glimpse into my mind!
Currently, I am finishing my last year of Global Business and Digital Arts at the University of Waterloo. I live in Hamilton, Ontario. Talk to you soon!
